Annual "Love Gently" Dinner
On Tuesday, March 13th, PAINTER’S Restaurant in Cornwall-on-Hudson will host and co-sponsor the 24th Annual “Love Gently” Dinner with Safe Homes of Orange County. The à-la-carte dinner event features notable community members and leaders working alongside Painter’s servers. All tips will be donated to Safe Homes and its comprehensive services for adult and child-victims of domestic violence, teen dating violence, and human trafficking.
“Each and every year we come together in partnership with Painter’s to celebrate friendship, collaboration, and community support. It’s the annual event we all look forward to and a very special evening filled with tradition, laughter, and memory making. It’s always one of my favorite events of the year,” said Kellyann Kostyal-Larrier, Executive Director of Safe Homes.
Servers will include Wayne Booth, Deputy Orange County Executive; Carl DuBois, Orange County Sheriff; David Hoovler, Orange County District Attorney; Brendan Coyne, Cornwall-on-Hudson Mayor; Jim DiSalvo, West Point-Highland Falls Rotarian; Mary Beth Greene, community volunteer; Jeanne Mahoney, Cornwall-on-Hudson Clerk; Dick Randazzo, Cornwall Town Supervisor; Dr. Michele Winchester-Vega from Dr. Michele Winchester-Vega & Associates; Inaudy Esposito, Executive Director of the Orange County Human Rights Commission; Kevinderyan Lujan, Orange County Legislator; Glen Plotsky, Attorney; and James Ferrara, Cornwall-based photographer.
“Love Gently” will feature live music from Run DMG, tarot card readings by Rozelisa (fees donated to the fundraiser), chocolate covered strawberries from Commodore Chocolatier, and a 50/50 raffle. There is no cover-charge.
Dinner is à-la-carte and served at two prompt seatings: 5:30 and 7:30pm. Generous tipping and participation in fundraising activities is encouraged. Reservations are required; call Painter’s at 845-534-2109.
